Their collection was based on capestyle moto jackets and dresses in gray kind of business-suiting fabric cut, fur-covered handbags that served also as hand warmers. They've found room in the Californian vibe for graphic, modern cuts and men's inspiring shirting, this collection, felt stricter with it's straight-up-straight-down, longer length pieces.
BADGLEY MISCHKA
Mark Badgley and James Mischka were inspired by turn-of-the century Vienna, in particular artist Gustav Klimt and architect Josef Hoffmann. This collection was a study in the effect, whether on a bodice hand-beaded with rectangle paillettes and ruby gems, or a tweed wool shift with a metallic glaze.
CAROLINA HERRERA
When coming to Carolina Herrera collections, you know for sure prints will be present. For fall 2014, Carolina Herrera chose a graphic pattern of triangles that looked like sailboats depending on the configuration; floor length dresses in fire red silk organza, or a silk cady number covered in orange, turquoise, and brown geometric shapes. For High society ease, straight, gray plaid pants with a degrade mink sweater, or burnt orange wool pants with a matching coat trimmed with wide panels of sable.
CHARLOTTE RONSON
For this collection, Charlotte Ronson was inspired by the children’s book “Little Lord Fauntleroy.” She interpreted the garb of the late-1800s setting into a fall collection that included a tailored, velvet-accented topcoat; a feminine poppy-print dress with a sheer mesh neckline, and boyish black leather suspender-shorts that felt completely modern today. A soft grunge meets feminine kind of collection.
DIANE VON FURSTENBERG
Diane von Furstenberg’s inspiration circled back to the turn of the century and the groundbreaking work of Sergei Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes. Deep-V neckline and geometric print, wrap style dresses and new full-skirted iterations were a flattering update in her new collection.
DKNY
Donna Karan’s 2014 fall collection pointed retrospectively toward former decades including neoprene bombers, varsity jackets appliquéd with a D for Donna, calf-length leather circle skirts, and lace minidresses in shocking pink among them. She wanted to portrait the city in all its appeared to be showcasing the city in all its vibrant, energized embraces of individuality.
Monique Lhuillier RTW
Monique Lhuillier’s fall collection was all about embroideries, somber colors and inspired by women’s business wear. Her collection was bold and romantic with a twist of a dark edge.

Based on female warriors, especially on Boudica, queen of the Celtic tribe that took on the Romans, were who inspired Nicole to create this collection. Furry feather skirts, vests and skirts embroidered patchwork-style were among the signature pieces.
Rebecca Minkoff
Rebecca Minkoff’s collection was heavy based on separates and practicality. It contained twists of femininity and men’s wear elements.
Tommy Hilfiger RTW
Tommy Hilfiger thinks the great American outdoors could use some fashiony explorers. Proved that point with plaid and panache in his strong fall collection with a faded inclination to grunge.
